Elizabeth Pezalla

Three parking lots near the Central Library in downtown Minneapolis are redesigned in order to reduce parking and increase cycling within the city.  The design highlights the intersection of the bicycle and mass transit systems currently on site. 

The plan includes the Bell Museum of Natural History and Observatory, two public parks and a bicycle commuter facility with storage, locker rooms, a cafe and a bicycle shop.  By providing both private and public facilities, an array of users will benefit from the redevelopment.
